Servers and DevOps
We put a project on a server so that it does not fall over and does not lose data: Docker, VPS deployment, CI, backups, monitoring. If the project lives somewhere else, we move it to your server or ours and check that nothing was lost on the way.
What is included
- Docker deployment on VPS: services are isolated, an update is one package, not edits on a live server;
- CI: the build and tests run automatically, and the server gets a verified version;
- backups with a restore test — a backup that cannot be restored does not count;
- monitoring: uptime, resources, error logs and an alert when something happens, not when you notice it yourself;
- moving a project to your own server with a check that the same thing works after the move.
How the work goes
What the project is and what exists
We look at what has to live on the server: a bot, a site, a backend, several services. If the server already exists, we check its state: what can be taken over and what has to be redone.
Deployment plan
We agree how the project will live: which services in Docker, what on disk, where the backups are, who can publish. For CI — which repository and what has to pass before a version reaches the server.
Deployment and the move
We set up the environment and services and carry the data over. If it is a relocation, we test on a copy first, then do the real move and compare: what worked before works after.
Backups, monitoring, handover
We set up scheduled backups, verify a restore on a test copy, connect monitoring and an error alert. The result is a guide: what lives where and what to do when an alert arrives.
Common questions
Can you move a project from another host or server?
Yes, that is a common case: from a website builder, from someone else's VPS, from the cloud. First a move to a test copy and a comparison, then the real relocation once it is confirmed that the same thing works.
Can you set it up and let me manage it?
Yes. We set it up so that publishing and restoring are a clear guide, not a black box: what is on which server, where the backups are, how to update a version.
Why CI if there are few updates?
A rare manual update carries the same risk as a frequent one: something gets forgotten, a version drifts. CI runs the tests and builds one package, and the server gets exactly what was checked.
How much does a deployment cost?
From $300 per project: Docker on VPS, backups, monitoring. A move with verification is priced separately, by volume: how many services and how much data to carry.
Where do the studio's own bots run?
On our server — the same principle as for clients: Docker, backups, logs. Where it matters, voice messages do not go to third-party APIs.
What happens if the server goes down?
Monitoring sends an alert: to you if the support is yours, or to us if you take it from us. Backups let you restore the project instead of building it again. For critical jobs we discuss a second server.
