omemo — a social media automation service
A service that creates content and publishes it to social platforms automatically, on a schedule.
The task
The client was running several social platforms at once and could not assemble posts by hand: the content team simply could not keep up with the publishing plan.
The second pain was that platforms behave differently. Some accept a post on the first try, some need a retry after a failure, and without a proper status it is impossible to tell what actually broke.
What we did
Content generation
The service prepares a whole post: text, image and the list of platforms. The tone is tuned to the client's style so the feed does not look generated.
Job queue
Publications do not go out on a button press; they sit in a queue and leave on schedule. If a platform rejects a post, it is not lost but returns to the queue.
Status per platform
Every post has a row per platform with its state: sent, delivered, error. You can see where it failed instead of an all-or-nothing guess.
Report
The collected publishing data is assembled into a report: what went out, when and where.
Its own web interface
All of it lives in one interface, with no third-party services and no manual copying between browser tabs.
