How the work goes
What happened
You describe the symptom: the bot is silent, a button does nothing, the wrong thing comes back. Half the diagnosis is often the error text you paste along with it.
Access to the code
We need the repository or the files and, if the bot runs on a server, access to it. Sometimes logs are enough and we can work without the code.
Diagnosis and patch
We find the cause and fix it. If the task turns out to run past 2 hours we stop and tell you what the whole thing will cost, so nobody discovers the overrun at the end.
Check and write-up
We confirm it works and hand over a short note: what was broken and why.
Common questions
How much does a fix cost?
From $100 for a task of up to 2 hours. If it turns out to be bigger, we say so before starting and quote the whole thing.
What fits into two hours?
Finding the cause, the change itself and checking that it works again. That covers one bug or one small feature: a new command, field, button, a library update.
What if I do not know whether the error is in the code or the settings?
That is the most common case, and the diagnosis is included. Describe what you see and paste the error text if you have it.
What if the code is not even mine?
We can still fix it, but we look first at whether we are allowed to modify it and whether we might break what works. Sometimes the honest answer is that the original author is needed.
What do you need from me?
A description of the problem, access to the code and, if the bot runs on a server, access to the server. Sometimes logs are enough.
How long does it take?
From 2 days. Simple changes go fast, but reading the code comes first and sometimes takes longer than the change itself.
