OMEMO Video — short videos from text
The user types a topic and the service builds a vertical video for social media: script, voice-over, footage, music and subtitles.
The task
Short videos for Reels, Shorts and VK Clips are needed every day, and shooting and editing them by hand takes a long time. A small business rarely has the time or an editor for it.
The omemo autoposting service already prepared texts and images. Video was missing, and it had to be good enough to publish without manual polishing.
What we did
Scene-by-scene script
A topic becomes a script split into scenes. Each scene can be edited by hand before the build.
Voice-over
Scene text is voiced with the chosen voice. Free and paid voices are both available.
Footage and music
Footage comes from a stock library by default, and generation can be switched on for a single scene. Background music is free licensed music with author credit, or generated.
Subtitles and assembly
The service adds subtitles and assembles the video in a vertical format ready to publish.
Nightly quality check
Every night the service builds a test video through the interface and checks the result. If something breaks, the team learns about it in the morning, not from users.
